Product Description

The history of Pawleys Island Hammocks dates back over a century to the Carolina Low Country. Captain Ward's creation of the rope hammock was born out of a desire for a good night's sleep during sultry summers. The hammock features a handwoven bed with two wooden spreader bars, a clew knot, and a ring for hanging.

DuraCord, our proprietary yarn, offers the performance of polyester with the feel of cotton. It is treated with ultraviolet inhibitors and other enhancements to withstand outdoor exposure while maintaining a cotton-like texture.
